Microsoft shared no specific unit sales for Xbox console or hardware sales, while no concrete information was provided about Xbox Live performance.

The Xbox One S was offered for only $250 on Black Friday, while a number of high-profile games (first- and third-party alike) were significantly discounted. On the Xbox Live front, the network's Black Friday sale kicked off on November 18 and continues until tomorrow, November 28.

Xbox One has been riding high in the US for a while now, as the console has been the best-selling system in the US for four straight months, dating back to July.

"We are grateful to our community for their continued dedication and passion toward Xbox, and are committed to making Xbox the best place to game this year and beyond," Nichols said.
